With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Carnes Jr. (Bartlett, Illinois), born in Sidney, Ohio, who passed away on April 19, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Carnes Sr. and Wilma Carnes; and his sisters, Barb Carnes and Rosemary Allen. He is survived by: his wife Maria Carnes; his children, Julie Puckett (Norm), Shelley Burns (Ron), Larry Fowler (Anita) and Laurie Fowler; his stepchildren, Elsa Abraham (Bill), Greg Mancias (Karen) and Roberto Mancias (Colleen); and his siblings, Thomas Carnes (Paulette), James Carnes (Dawn) and Hazel Hubble (Chris). He is also survived by his 8 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren as well as his 6 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
A graveside service for Joseph E. Carnes, Jr. will be held Friday, April 24, 2020 12noon at Memory Gardens Cemetery Arlington Heights. **Due to current COVID 19 restrictions, a maximum of 10 people will be allowed at the graveside.
In lieu of flowers donations to one of three charities which were closest to Joseph's heart would be appreciated, VFW Post 5151, National Federation for the Blind or St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
