He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Matson. He is survived by: his mother Karen Matson; his brother Michael (Marin); and his friends, Tim Cagney and Tim Copper.

A Mass will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Damian Catholic Church (131 S Crest Ave, Bartlett, IL 60103). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the Mount Emblem Cemetery (520 E Grand Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
