He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann; and his parents, John and Katherine (Shimkus). He is survived by: his children, James Kevin (Lorraine), Mary Katherine Wlezen (Chris), Michael John (Sandy) and Patricia Lynn Ankrom (James); his grandchildren, Jessica Lynn (Eric), James Walter, Amanda (Robert), Eric (Caitlin), David, Jamie, Aaliya, Aliza, Eli, Lincoln and Duncan; and his siblings, Jack (Mimi) and Vivian.
