He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Sr. Gomes and Lilian Gomes; his brother Elmer Jr. Gomes (Wilma); and his nephew David. He is survived by: his wife Lois; his children, Kevin Gomes (Gigi) and Kathryn Gentry (Aaron); his grandchildren, Zack (Kristin), Jake (Kelsie), Luke, Sam, Emma and Jack; and his niece Donna (Sean).
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory (950 S Bartlett Rd, Bartlett, IL 60103). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
