She is survived by: her children, Janina Rivera (David) and Matthew Alshanski (Carla); her grandchildren, David Rivera, Jr., Haley Neudorf-Alshanski, Isaiah Rivera and Chloe Alshanski; and her brother Neil Fortunato (Sarah).
