He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Martha; his daughters, Madeline Lucas (Corban), Meagan Wantroba (Lucas) and Faith Callahan (Kevin Wantoba); his granddaughters, Amelia and Adriana; his parents, Thomas Callahan and Viola Callahan; his siblings, Tom Callahan (Kathy), Deborah Copone (Ron), Kathleen and Jennifer Callahan; and his nephew Mason.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory (950 S Bartlett Rd, Bartlett, IL 60103). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Kidney Cancer Association, http://www.kidneycancer.org. would be appreciated.
