He was predeceased by: his parents, Werner Burg and Ada Lowe Von Burg (Lowe); and his siblings, Jim Von Burg, Arthur Von Burg, Robert Von Burg, Joann Gilliland and Mary Jean Daughterty.
He is survived by: his children, Werner Von Burg IV (Ashley) of Hooper, UT, Jon Von Burg (Rebecca Sandbothe) of Hull, IL, Cody Von Burg of Glen Burnie, MD, Dawn Keller (John) of St. Paul, MO, Jennifer Von Burg of Quincy, IL and Kristi Austin of Quincy, IL; his siblings, Mike Von Burg of Springfield, IL and Kathy Archambo of Arenzville, IL; and his pet Rocky. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
