He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ray and Laura Ruth Hartoon Gleckler; and his brother Harold Gleckler. He is survived by: his wife Laverda; his children, Cynthia Piper (Mark), Bryce Gleckler (Dona) and Bradley Gleckler (Sherry); his grandchildren, Krista Rebbe (Mike), Justin Noble (Jennifer), Keenan Noble (Nicole) and Mathew Gleckler (Shelby); and his great grandchildren, Ethan Booth, Hadley Hill, Jameson Noble, Joel Noble, Emma Noble, Daniel Noble, Harrison Gleckler and Vayda Gleckler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to be made to the Barry United Methodist Church.
