He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Smith and Frances Smith (Stroheker); his former wife Judith Burgdorff; his brother William Smith; and his daughter-in-law Ellie Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Morrow; his children, Stacy Nation (Gary) of Pittsfield, IL, Robert Craig Smith of Knoxville, TN, Kelly Wood (Ed) of Chatham, IL., Laurie Brace (Jay) of Barry, IL and Stewart Todd Smith (Kelly) of Great Falls, MT; and his sister Sharon Main of Barry, IL.. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
