She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Bogan and Jessie Smith Bogan; her husband Hugh A. Hurt; her siblings, Meredith, Lyndell, Bobby Bogan, Gretta Shimmin (Bogan) and Grace Harlow (Bogan); her niece Carol Phieffer (Bogan); and her nephew Christopher Bogan.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Hurt of Pittsfield, IL and Randall Hurt (Jeane) of Barry, IL; her grandchildren, Kayloni Obert (Eric) of Liberty, IL and Alex Hurt (Megan) of New London, MO; and her great grandchildren, Elijah, Raelee, Lyla, Casen and Corie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
