It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Grace Ann Carpenter of Barry, Illinois, who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Ellefson and Grace Ellefson; her son Al Carpenter; her siblings, Martha, Everett (Genevieve), Klemmet and Jacob; and her siblings-in-law, Dotty Ellis and Richard Carpenter.
She is survived by: her husband Barry Carpenter; her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Ellefson, Shirley Ellefson, Bea Young (Duane Barnes), Kim Carpenter, Barbara Rezmer (Matt) and Jack Carpenter (Lynn); her daughter Elizabeth Dusik (Beth); her grandchildren, Kayse Lavin (Tim), Matthew Dusik (Hannah), Jesse Dusik (Mitch Pittner), Izabell Dusik and Lucas Dusik; and her great grandchildren, Avery, Abigail, Jack and Elliot. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In place of flowers, donations may be sent to the Arlington Heights Nursing Club to offer scholarships to nursing students, as youth and nursing were among her many passions.
