It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glorine J. Phebus of Barry, Illinois, born in Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Badgley and Venita F. Badgley (Smith); her former husbands, Ernest Howell and William Taylor; her husband John E. "Gene" Phebus; her daughter Carolyn Sue; her granddaughters, Shelia Gordon, Cheryl Scranton and Charlene Franklin; her sons, Lee Howell and James Taylor; her son-in-law Roger Gordon; her grandson Kelly Franklin; her great great grandchild Michael Steiner; and her brothers, Roy Badgley and Bill Badgley.
She is survived by: her children, John "Mike" Howell (Tammy) of Barry, IL and Charlotte Brown (Jerry Pettitt) of Hannibal, MO; her stepchildren, Linda Turnbauch of Griggsville, IL, John Phebus of Aurora, IL and Charles Phebus of Jacksonville, IL; and her friend Clair Thompson of Hull, IL.. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 93 great grandchildren, numerous great great grandchildren.
