He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Andrew Hutter and Eva Mary Fleming Hutter; his son Eugene Kenneth "Ken" Hutter, Jr.; and his siblings, Lorraine Hutter Kilhoffer and Wallace Leo Hutter.
He is survived by: his uncle Alfonse "Tommy" Thomas; his aunt Alice; his wife Wanda Lee Zimmerman Hutter; his children, Jeffrey Hutter (Angela) of Indianapolis and Lindalyn Hutter of Alexandria, Virginia; his grandchildren, Jared Kenneth Hutter (Kristen) of Alexandria, Virginia, Lori Elkins (Todd) and Whitney Lawrence (Brennen); his great grandchildren, Evan Elkins, Griffin Elkins, Anna Lawrence and William Lawrence; and also Angela. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Burial: Quincy Memorial Park Memorials may be made to Church of St. Peter Boy Scout Troop and the Youth Projects of the Quincy Breakfast Optimist Club.
