He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert O. Patterson and Edna M. Smith Patterson; his former wife Mary Lou; his brother Donald; his sister-in-law Marjorie Patterson; his sister Marilyn; his brother-in-law Raymond Dunn; his sister Carmen Furniss; and his great grandchild Tyler Sealock.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Patterson (Gasko); his children, Joyce Losch (Thomas) of Quincy, IL., Dallas Bruce Patterson (Michelle) of Wichita, KS, Kathy Gerecke (Steven) of Liberty, IL, Linda Patterson of Pittsfield, IL, David Patterson of Payson, IL and Gary Patterson (Heather) of Hannibal, MO; his grandchildren, Rebecca Wilson (Grant), Brianne Sealock (Matt) of Pittsfield, IL, Andrew Gerecke (Katie) of Clayton, IL and Rachel Gerecke of Pittsfield, IL; his stepgrandchild Haven Bloodgood of Wellington; and his stepsons, Mark Hoskins (Gayle) of Barry, IL, Charles T. Hoskins (Sue) of Waterford, WI and Jeffery M. Hoskins (Laurie) of Pleasant Prairie, WI.. He is also survived by 10 step grandchildren; and 8 step great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Barry United Methodist Church and Parklawn Cemetery.
