It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Slater of Barry, Illinois, born in Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on August 30, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chancey E. Runyon II and Doris Runyon; and his brother Chancey E. Runyon III. He is survived by: his daughter Alexandria Slater (Tristan Miller) of Pittsfield; his siblings, Danny Slater (Patty) of Foley, Jeramie Slater (Annie) of Louisiana, Gay Slater (Jim Guthrie) of Louisiana, Georgia Van Blair of Texas and Bonnie Slater of Winfield; and his grandson Bowie Miller of Pittsfield. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
