It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Louise Lyons of Barry, Illinois, who passed away on July 28, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Carol Louise may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carol Louise touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence E. Lyons and Erva M. Lyons (Rhoads); and her sister Catherine Kessinger.
