It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas C. McGonigle of Barrington, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 9, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Rosemary Koudelka. He is survived by: his wife Betty McGonigle; his children, Gary McGonigle (Sally), Darlene Medaris (Daun), Andrew Blake (Donna), Thomas Blake (Siri), John Blake (Jean), Kathryn Hayslip (Stephen) and Diane Bennett (David); his grandchildren, Dayna, Branden, Daniel, Kit, Jessica, Matthew, Carly, Andrew (Heather), Matt (Melia), Kimberly (Max), Ben (Alyssa), Eric (Lauren), Julia (Evan), Mark, Neil, Elizabeth, Renee, Scott and Paul (Britney); and his siblings, Margaret, Gerald and James McGonigle (Carol). He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren and 3 on the way; 1 great-great-grandchild; 19 grand dogs and cats.
