With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Suzanne Gibson (Barrington, Illinois), born in Paxton, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Suzanne left this world on January 23, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Mark; her son Jonathan; and her parents, Robert Sites and Ardene Sites. She is survived by: her children, Kristin Kirk and Robert Gibson (Talia); her granddaughters, Eliana, Noa and Annie; and her siblings, Greg Sites (Joyce), Carolyn Miller (Jim) and Janet Cheverud (Jim).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davenport Family Funeral Homes and Crematory – Barrington (149 W Main St, Barrington, IL 60010). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lutheran Church (909 E Main St, Barrington, IL 60010).
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in Suzanne's honor to the Rotary Foundation to continue her passion for doing good in the world.
