It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Edward Richter of Barrington, Illinois, born in Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeannie Richter, (Behof) and Norman A. Richter, Sr.; and his brothers, Lawrence and William. He is survived by: his wife Bonita "Bonnie" Richter; his stepchildren, Michael D. Groff, Jr. (Ashley) of Pottstown, PA, Janelle C. Groff of Wyomissing, PA and Rebecca L. Groff of Reading, PA; his stepgrandson Jameson Michael Groff; and his siblings, Norman Richter Jr. (Gina), Susan Kuta (Jerry), Karen Kolbaska (Dave), Kenneth Richter (Michelle), Linda Schofield and Mary Crandall (Mike).
