She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kearns and Nora McCarthy; her husband Walter Edens; and her brothers, James, Lawrence and Patrick McCarthy.

She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Kathleen and Jacqueline Edens. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
