He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Scanlon and Margaret Scanlon. He is survived by: his wife Karen Scanlon (Higgins); his children, John Scanlon (Debbie), Joe Scanlon, Mary McDermott (Guy), Brian Scanlon (Taiwo) and Laura Scanlon-Hood; and his grandchildren, Meghan Scanlon, Colleen Scanlon, Devin Hood, Sean McDermott, Brendan Scanlon, Erin McDermott, Maggie McDermott, Lily Scanlon and Ella Scanlon.
