He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherwin Rodgers and Lolita Rodgers. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Kyle, Eloise and Matthew; and his sister Jill Rodgers Wansea (late John).

Lance was a member of Lake Shore Country Club in Glencoe, a Board member of Hands of Hope, a Board member of the 222 Foundation, and a founding member of the Outpost Bible Church in McHenry.
