James Scott Pirie Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Scott Pirie of Barrington, Illinois, born in Ridgewood, New Jersey, who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Bruce Pirie Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Pirie; his wife Melissa Pirie; his sons, Nash and Dylan; his parents-in-law, Wayne and Lynda Smith of Morrisville, NY; his siblings, Virginia Pirie (Tom Harbeck) of Tenafly, NJ, Nancy Pirie, Bob Dalsey of Medford Lakes, NJ, Rob Pirie III and Marisa Panecki of Hawthorne, NJ; his sister-in-law Julie Crisp (Dale Crisp) of Cicero, NY.; his nieces and nephews, Taylor, Matt, Michael, Mackenzie, Rebecca, Bruce, Kate, Cole, Conor, Jeffrey, Kim, Eric, Kelly, Dana, Dale and Joanna; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Faith, Brooks, James, Cameron, Miles, Madison, Ethan, Kylee, Karlee, Lennon and Kylo.
In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Jim's fighting spirit and strength, donations may be made in memory of Jim Pirie to support the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center Fund at the University of Chicago Medicine.
