James was a graduate of Elgin High Class of 1967 and a Vietnam veteran. He enjoyed working in his yard with nature and was a wonderful storyteller who was always willing to help others when needed. He worked many years as a surveyor for Harry Blizzard & Assoc., Stettner & Assoc., and Aldridge Electric, Inc. He remained close to good friends Gina and Denise.
He is survived by his son Jeff Czischki of Dundee, 3 sisters Susan A. (Thomas) Bumsted of Green Valley, AZ, Joan M. (Thomas) Fuchs of Leland, and Patricia L. (Thomas) Groh of South Elgin, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Michael and his parents Paul and Mary Czischki.
