He was predeceased by: his son David Karlin (Barb); his parents, Jack Karlin and Pearl Karlin; and his brother Stuart Karlin. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Paige Dioguardi (Brian), Chad Weprin (Kim), Brooke Anderson (Marc) and Jody Mack; his grandchildren, Jesse (Sedona), Cody (Emily), Mimi, Avery and Lily; his great grandchild Connell; and his siblings, Spencer Karlin (late Ellie) and Alice Powell (Michael).
