It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emil Golen Jr. of Barrington, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Ellen Kilbridge; and his parents, Emil S Golen and Lorraine Marie Golen. He is survived by: his children, Greer Archbold II (Dean) and Blair Golen; his stepchildren, James McGovern (Molly) and Terry McGovern (Kennedy); his grandchildren, Julia, Tommy McGovern, Chase and Alexys Archbold; his sister Susan Smith (Larry); and his siblings-in-law, Patrick Kilbridge, Daniel Kilbridge (Anna), Peggy Kilbridge Brothman (late Steve), Michael Kilbridge (Helen Delgado), Robert Kilbridge (Amy) and Vincent (Gina Borremeo).
