It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Ryan of Barrington, Illinois, who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Karrels and Mary Karrels (Freimann); and her husband John F. Ryan. She is survived by: her children, John Ryan (Annette), Robert Ryan (Nancy), Jean Murphy (Mike), Denice Ryan (William Acuff) and James (Tamara). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Donations may be made in her memory to Fremont Public Library or through Masses at Santa Maria del Popolo in Mundelein.
