He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alex and Lucile; his wife Carol; his children, Adam Rice (Gwen), Jennifer Murphy (Charlie) and Melissa Rice; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Samantha and Jessica Murphy; his sister-in-law Sandra Cohen; his nieces and nephews, Flauren Ricketts, Joel Brosk (Carol), Bronwyn Jacobson (Kenny), Nathaniel Cohen (Lynn), Julia Judish (Nathan) and Joshua Cohen; his cousin Basil Kromelow; and his sister Muriel Brosk (Herb).
