He is survived by: his wife Irene; his children, Adrian Bielat (Cristen) and Eryk Szymanski; his grandchildren, Logan and Madelyn; and his siblings, Stanislaw Szymanski (Beata), Jan Szymanski (Janina) and Grazyna Swierczek (Zygmund). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
