He is survived by: his wife Eunice; his sons, Brian Gegel of New Richland, MN, Stan Gegel of Baldwin, IL and Mike Gegel (Tammy) of Wapakoneta, OH.; his grandchildren, Jessica Gegel (Jon Markl) of Traverse City, MI, Joshua Gegel of Minnesota, Tori Gegel of Dayton, OH, Cedric Gegel (Sarah) of Columbus, OH, Salon Gegel (Edward Long) of Findlay, OH and Austin Gegel of Wapakoneta, OH.; his siblings-in-law, Tom Wheatley of Waterloo, IL., Moselle Loeschen of Glidden, IA and Betty Root of Great Bend, KS.; his uncle Albert; his aunt Viola Guebert of Dix, IL.; his sister Norma Wheatley; his siblings-in-law, David Brewer, Paul Loeschen and Jennine Johnson; and his daughter-in-law Jane Gegel (Wehrheim).
