Zella Whisler Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Zella Whisler (Avon, Illinois), who passed away on April 25, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lance V Young and Edith Little Young; her sister Thelma Yeoman (Ross); her son-in-law Russell Brahmstedt; her daughters, Karen Rightor (William) and Sarah Brahmstedt; her granddaughter Emily Gates (Nathan); and her great grandchildren, Quinton and Miles.

Due to the viral pandemic that has disrupted all of our lives, there will be no public services for Zella at this time.

Those wishing to honor Zella may do so by making memorial donations to the Avon Volunteer Fire Department (first responder unit), Angels in Action Relay for Life team, the Helping Hearts Food Pantry or the Avon Federated Church.
