Russell Brahmstedt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2019, at the age of 68, Russell Brahmstedt (Avon, Illinois), born in Monmouth, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Wayne Brahmstedt and Pauline Elizabeth (Metzner); his brother-in-law Steve Coates; and his father-in-law Daniel Whisler. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Ellen (Whisler); his grandsons, Quinton Wayne and Miles Calvin Gates; his son-in-law Nathan Gates; his sister Susie Coates; his mother-in-law Zella Whisler (Young); his sister-in-law Karen Rightor (Bill); his aunt Peg Sechek; his niece Stacy Dew (Ryan); and his daughter Emily. He is also survived by three grandnephews and numerous cousins.
Russell's wishes were that in lieu of flowers memorial donations in his name may be made to the Angels in Action Relay for Life Team, the livestock show at the Avon Fat Steer Show, or the American Heart Association.
