Norma J. Shores Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma J. Shores of Avon, Illinois, born in Camden, Illinois, who passed away on July 6, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis "Tuck" Shores and Annalee Shores (Greenplate); her siblings, Larry McNeely and Nancy Gillett; and her siblings-in-law, Tenia Shores and Larry Gillett.

She is survived by: her brother Keith Shores of Neponset, Illinois; her nieces, Tammy Baughman (Scott) of Smithfield, Laura Gillett of Abingdon, Kristina Bennett (Brett) of Kewanee, Dawn Gillett of Booneville, Selina Hartweg (Chad) of Kewanee and Shanna Plympton (Tony) of Galesburg, Illinois; and her nephew Brian Shores of Kewanee.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Avon Federated Church or the Safe Harbor Family Crisis Center and left in the care of the funeral home.
