He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Eatherton and Dorothy "Lottie" Howard; his wife Kathleen Van Middlesworth; his stepfather Herschel Redding; and his sister Betty Poyner.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Giles (Richard) of Washington, Kathy Strange (Glen) of Bushnell, IL and Greg Eatherton of Bushnell; his grandchildren, Tashina Strange of Bushnell, IL, Wesley Strange (Christine) and Ashley Giles (Pravat) of Black Diamond, WA; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Ashanti, Kellen and Cameron. He is also survived by Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Avon Fire Department and left in the care of the funeral home.
