He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy J. McDermet and Lelia Mabel McDermet (Ault); his wife Pamela Sue Doubler Davis; and his siblings, Gerald, Bill, Frankie, Melba, Wilma, Pat and Shirley.
He is survived by: his siblings, John McDermet (Vivian) of Gilson, Illinois and Judy French (Gordon) of Galesburg, Illinois; his stepchildren, Julee Wagner (Terry), Randy Davis of Monmouth and Tami Davis Chubb (Jerry) of Burlington; his stepgrandchildren, Jacob Broderick (Carly Kurtz), Cory Clark (Jersi Warner), Nathan Davis, Honesty Davis, Britta Swanson, Shanna Fisher and Salinda Shinn (Doug); and his siblings-in-law, Chad Doubler (Sherry), Jan Younggren (Hayden) and Kim Brewerton (Larry). He is also survived by 12 step great-grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and left in the care of the funeral home.
