She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Berger and Margaret Berger; her brothers, Charles Berger, Richard "Dick" Berger and James Berger; and her brother-in-law Sam Simpson.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald J. Ratermann; her children, Jason Ratermann, Wendy Messick (Ben), Amanda Middendorff (Chad) and PJ Ratermann (Jazel); her siblings, Barb Simpson and Harry Berger (Ann); and her siblings-in-law, Dennis, Donna Ratermann, Jeanette Wellen, Robert "Bob" and Cindy Ratermann, Jr..
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church (251 S Clinton St, Aviston, IL 62216). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Francis Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in memory of Sarah to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice and will be received at the church or funeral home.
