With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maren Poettker of Aviston, Illinois, born in Maryville, Illinois, who passed away on October 24, 2021 at the age of 4. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maren Poettker to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her brother Jensen Poettker; her great-grandparents, Vincent Poettker, Frank, Adella, Dee, Dorothy, Reamer, Ann and Childress; and her cousin Landon Kipling.

She is survived by: her parent Chris; her sister Mercer Poettker; her grandparents, Bradley, Cindy, Daniel and Rita; her aunts and uncles, Danielle Pender (Philip) of Edwardsville, Shelly Spears (Dirk) of Aviston and Tracy Millard (Joe) of Aviston; and her cousins, Laekyn Kipling, Matt Spears (Audra Beckemeyer), Morgan Spears, Mason Millard and Ava Millard. She is also survived by numerous great-aunts and great-uncles.

In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to Mercer Poettker for her education fund (checks payable to Mercer Poettker) or Aviston Park District and will be received at the funeral home or by mail, Moss Funeral Home 535 N. 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
