He was predeceased by: his father Lester; his brother Glenn Ranz; and also Hal Gray. He is survived by: his siblings, David Ranz (Joanie) of Trenton, Lenore Gray of Trenton and Carolyn Smoot (Gary) of Sterling; his nieces and nephews, Tim Ranz (Jaime), Chris Ranz (Christine), Erin Lee (Keith), Meaghan Ellenburg (Daniel), Philip Gray (Stephanie), Justin Gray (Elissa), Jonathan Gray, Kestrel Smoot and Katelyn Smoot; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ella, Sydney, Sawyer, Savannah Ranz, Gianna, Jaden, Julien, Gemma Lee, Mae Ellenburg, Mason, Murphy Gray, Nolan, Halle Gray, Trent and Trevor Litteken.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to the wishes of the family (checks payable to David Ranz) and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 105 S. Main St. Trenton, IL 62293, who is serving the family.
