She was predeceased by: her father William; her husband Alfred "Otto" Wellen, Sr.; her children, Alfred Wellen, Jr., Sharon Dumstorff and Barbara Jean Southard; her siblings, Shirley McGlasson, William Mollet, Jr., Robert Mollet and Clifford Mollet; and her siblings-in-law, Ed McGlasson, Alice Mollet, Mary Ann Mollet, Alphonse, Josephine Wellen, Eleanor, Urban Burke, Bernadine, John Schaeffer, Leona, Bob Singler, James Wellen and Annie Wellen.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Wellen (Jeannie), Peggy Behrman (Clyde "Balls"), Curtis Wellen (Donna), Connie Wellen and Tammy Toennies (Bob); her grandchildren, Shelley Scott (Corey), Jamie Jung (Travis), Kyle Wellen (Erika), Sarah Reyes (Tim), Heather McCown (Jaden), Hunter Toennies and Kari Wellen; her brother Ronald Mollet (Dianne); and her sisters-in-law, Edna Mollet and Paulette Wellen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or to the Family Wishes and will be received at the church or Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover St., New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
