It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wm. Gilbert Edgar (Ava, Illinois), who passed away on January 31, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edgar and Eleanor Edgar (LePere); and his sister Carolyn O'Dell. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Edgar of Ava; his children, Tim Edgar (Lorna) of Ava, Audra McBride (Steve) of Murphysboro and Connie Edgar of Ava; his grandchildren, Ashly Tullis (Michael), Jeremy Edgar, Koral McBride and Connor McBride; his great grandchildren, Phalin, Nevaeh and Grayson; his brothers, John Cecil Edgar (Roberta) of Ava and Randall Edgar (Margaret) of Ava; and his friend Carl Runge. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
