It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth K. Rodewald of Ava, Illinois, born in Steeleville, Illinois, who passed away on December 10, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer F. Meyerhoff and Martha Meyerhoff (Inselmann); her spouse Omer H. Rodewald; her son Daryle; and her siblings, Kenneth and Ethel Troue.
She is survived by: her children, Gyle Rodewald of Campbell Hill, IL, Judy Diercks (Glenn) of Sparta, IL and Jane Mueller (Steve) of Steeleville, IL; her daughter-in-law Judy Rodewald of Steeleville, IL; and her sister-in-law Ruth Rodewald. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill or KFUO Radio Station.
