It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minnie B. McClure of Ava, Illinois, who passed away on February 14, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Minnie B. McClure to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard M. Johnson and Josephine May Huskey Johnson; her husband Vernon N. McClure; and her daughter Debra Putz-Gossage. She is survived by: her children, Vernon L. McClure (Phyllis) of Sparta, IL, Vernnea Elaine Jones (Larry) of Ava, IL and Sherry Denise Wendley of Murphysboro, IL; her grandchildren, Laurie Garrison (Mike), Larry L. Jones, Chantel McClure, Christopher Topher McClure (Sarah), John L. Lee (Pam), Ron D. Lee (Dawn), Melinda Putz and Jason Putz (Amber); and her sister Leonarda Draper of Ava, IL.. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren.
