We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2023, at the age of 91, Joyce A. Smith of Ava, Illinois, born in Herrin, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Hindman and Isabell Hindman (Ford); her husband William E. Smith, Sr.; her sons, William E. Smith, Jr. and James Smith; and her brother Bert Hindman.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Ann Smith (Luke Cox) of Ava, IL; her grandchildren, William E. Smith III (Lamia), Shannon H. Walden (Joan), Jeffery S. Smith and Zedekiah J. Smith; her great grandchildren, Tony Joe, Kyle Henry, Delany, Teeghan Raye and Josh (Nicole); her great great grandchildren, Naevia and Brooklyn; her brother Jack Hindman; and her sister-in-law Bobbie Hindman.
