He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Goddard and Mabel Russell Goddard; his daughter Teri; and his brothers, Alvin and Amos Leon.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Goddard; and his children, Lyn Bame (Kevin) of Murphysboro, Lori Dammermann (Karl) of Ava and Lisa Quillman (Clay) of Ava. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
