It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen K. Davis of Ava, Illinois, born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 29, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry E. Hames and Theresa Florence Hames (Kelly); her husband James R. Davis; and her siblings, Harry E. Hames, George A. Hames and Evelyn M. Hames.
She is survived by: her son Paul Leland Cook; her stepdaughters, Patricia Ann Davis and Paula Marie Flowers; and her grandchildren, James Michael Flowers, Zoey Flowers, Brixton Todor Cook and Delilah Faye Cook.
