She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kleckner and Cordia Kleckner (Astholz); her husband Lawrence Louis Ehlers; her son Curt Ehlers; and her half-sister Ruth.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Smith (Jerry) of Ava, IL; her daughter-in-law Katie Ehlers of Ava, IL; her grandchildren, Jeremiah Smith and Samantha Smith; and her stepgranddaughters, Angela Feal (Sergio) and Sarah Morber (Chris). She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Jackson County Humane Society.
