He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence "Larry" Ehlers. He is survived by: his mother Betty Ehlers (Kleckner) of Chester; his wife Katie (Torrence) of Campbell Hill; his sister Linda Smith (Jerry) of Campbell Hill; and his nieces and nephews, Jeremiah Smith of Campbell Hill, Clayton Koss of Duluth, MN, Samuel Koss of Grand Forks, ND, Samantha Smith of Murphysboro and Joelle Koss-Schmid of Duluth, MN..
