She was predeceased by: her parents, James Evan and Geraldine Ellen Morgan Hawkins; and her brother Larry James Hawkins. She is survived by: her spouse Virgil Young; her children, Virgil Lee Young of Ava, Sandra Ellen Young of Carterville and Angela Marie McKay of Montana; her siblings, Cathy Claussen of Ava, Debra Gale of Sparta and Danny Leon Holcomb of Sparta; her uncles, Jack Brown of Ava and Bo Brown of Ava; her brother Rick Carter; and also, Arlyn Volkman, Ted Hood and Betty Claussen of Ava.
