We bid farewell to Brenda G. Miesner of Ava, Illinois, born in Murphysboro, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 12, 2024 at the age of 78. Brenda touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Louis and Margaina Gale (Fisher); her siblings, Larry Maxwell and Patricia Basso; and her brother-in-law Dale Frederick Miesner.
She is survived by: her husband Forrest Miesner; her children, Gretta Cairatti (Cliff) and Shawn McKeon (John); her grandsons, Anthony Cairatti and Chandler Cairatti; her siblings, Phyllis Ellis (Joe), Gordon Gale (Billie Ruth), Janet Santos and Allen "Butch" Gale; and her in-laws, Ray Miesner (Nelda) and Jane Cottonaro (Terry). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and great great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 7:30 PM at the Wilson's Funeral Home (206 S 5th St, Ava, IL 62907). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church.
