He is survived by: his parents, Jim Benecke and Rachel Benecke; his sister Marissa Benecke (Henry Macgibbon-Parker); his aunts, Roxanne Shragal (Craig), Lisa Bonafacchi (Dean Claussen) and Diane-Audrey Benecke; and his uncle Jeff Bonafacchi (Fran). He is also survived by numerous cousins, family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory - South Naperville (24021 Royal Worlington Dr, Naperville, IL 60564). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church (701 S Eola Rd, Aurora, IL 60504).
